The Schulz Museum offers two unique, hands-on classroom experiences designed to introduce students to cartooning, animation, and Charles Schulz through a variety of drawing and art activities. The Museum can visit up to four classes in a day, depending on your site’s schedule.

ABOUT OUTREACH PROGRAMS FROM THE MUSEUM
Each classroom visit is 50-75 minutes in length, depending on class schedule. Reservations should be made at least three weeks in advance.
For all grades, kindergarten through grade 6 and above.
FOR K–2ND GRADE
Peanuts on the Go
Learn about local icon Charles Schulz and Peanuts by learning how to draw Snoopy and creating several crafts to take home, including a Snoopy puppet and collage comic strip.
Supports grades K–2 Language Arts and Visual Arts content standards
FOR 3RD–6TH GRADE
Cartooning in Your Classroom
Explore the art of cartooning and animation! Students will create a comic strip, hand-drawn animated sequence for the zoetrope, and experiment with basic stop-motion computer animation.Supports grades 3–6 Language Arts and Visual Arts content standards
TIMES AND FEES
Program Length: Each classroom visit is 50-75 minutes in length, depending on class schedule.
$100 for one class (maximum of 35 students)
$150 for two classes ($75 per class)
$180 for three classes ($60 per class)
Plus $.55 per round trip mile traveled from the Schulz Museum
Fee Assistance Available: The Schulz Museum is committed to making its programs available to everyone. We offer full and partial fee assistance for schools and groups in need of financial aid. Fee assistance is available for programs delivered between September and March only. Fee assistance is no longer available for the 2013/14 school year. Please check back in August for the 2014/15 school year.
