Manga & Pokémon (Grades 4–6)

Paint, stamp, cut, and color to make masterpieces. Blend colors to make Monet-inspired waterlilies. Use lines, shapes, and colors to make rainbows, butterflies, and monsters, too. Instructor: Angelica Blancas-Mims

Happy New Year, Charlie Brown!

Enjoy fun crafts for kids, make a balloon Snoopy, and watch Happy New Year, Charlie Brown! on the big screen. Plus, ring in 2023 with an Up Down Balloon Drop and Baby Balloon Drop (for children 4 and under and their families) at Noon, and a second Balloon Drop at 3:00 pm! Doors open at 10:00 am; admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Game Day (Grades K–3)

Get your game face on for a morning of team challenges and fun! Discover who can build the tallest tower out of straws, explore the Museum with an iPad scavenger hunt, and make your own board game to take home. Instructor: Michael Marquez

Peanuts & Kids Cook (Grades K–3)

Make some of the Peanuts Gang’s favorite foods with a new twist. Bake pasta-skewer pizzas, pup-peroni pizza bites, and mac and cheese in a mug. Instructor: Michael Marquez

Superheroes & Sidekicks (Grades K–3)

Activate your imagination and explore storytelling through comics. Learn to draw daring heroes and their super sidekicks, make comic strips and books, and create your own simple animation. Instructor: Michael Marquez

FREE Day & Guest Cartoonist: Christopher Eliopoulos

Enjoy free admission all day! Also, at 10:30 am, join Christopher Eliopoulos, illustrator of the New York Times bestselling picture book biography series, Ordinary People Change the World. He will talk about his work, provide a drawing demo, and sign books, including the new release, I am John Lewis, after the talk.

Art and Adventure Brownie Sleepover

Brownies will spend the night and have fun experiencing the Schulz Museum after dark! Sleep over at the Museum and complete all five steps of the Letterboxer badge! Advance registration is required.

Homeschool Day: Into the Wild

Snoopy, Woodstock, and the Beagle Scouts aren’t the only wildlife we encounter in the Peanuts comic strip. Learn about the great outdoors and the animals that live there through hands-on activities. Explore pollination with cheese powder, create chlorophyll paintings, make a bug catcher, and more!
