Grades Pre-K & Up with Adult Children and their adults will work together to assemble and decorate Snoopy’s doghouse out of gingerbread—complete with a marshmallow Snoopy on top! Also make holiday cards and ornaments to take home. This workshop is designed for children ages 3–6 and an adult.
Meet, watch, and talk to artist Clay Vajgrt who has been creating art for over 40 years. His comic book-inspired paintings include the SuperMonks series.

Grades 4–6 Join artist Barbara Golden and learn to create simple and fun comic characters, each with a different personality. Use graphite pencils, colored pencils, ink, and markers to tell your own story with comic strips.
Grades K–3 Tie-dye a t-shirt, make a knotted mala backpack clip, and design your own peace flag while exploring the Schulz Museum and learning about the smallest Peanuts character, Woodstock, and his feathered friends.
Grades 4–6 Experiment with different art media with artist Barbara Golden. What happens when watercolor meets crayon, or when salt sprinkles watercolors? Discover the difference between oil and soft pastels, the fun stuff you can do with a toothbrush and paint, and more.
Grades K–6 Cook up a bunch of healthy treats to start the New Year off right! Bake bell pepper nachos, muffin-tin mac and cheese, and pizza cupcakes, and learn a healthy twist on dessert ideas, too.
Learn to draw with writer, animator, and storyboard artist Matthew Luhn whose story and animation credits include Toy Story (1995), Toy Story 2 (1999), Monsters Inc. (2001), Finding Nemo (2003), Cars (2006), Ratatouille (2007), UP (2009), Toy Story 3 (2010), and other films and TV shows currently in development.
Watch the first-ever feature-length Peanuts film, A Boy Named Charlie Brown (1969), on the big screen in the Museum’s Theater! Against all odds Charlie Brown wins the class spelling bee. Then he wins the school spelling bee. Next he’s on to the televised national spelling bee. With Snoopy and Linus present for moral support, can Charlie Brown spell his way to a national championship? Good Grief! Run time: 1 hour, 26 minutes.
