People comment over and over again how relevant the Peanuts strips are – even 20 or 30 years later. Part of it is that people don’t change in basic ways.   But this strip which appeared in our paper in the second week of July certainly hits the nail on the head. it is ad if it had been written with today’s  political situation in mind. As often with Peanuts you don’t know whether to laugh or cry.  This strip was originally published July 15, 1966
