I couldn’t wait to share these photos!

A donated suburban has been painted to mimic the school bus of the comic strip first drawn in the strip in May 5, 1971. (There is a bus drawn in 1969, but I do not think it is necessarily a school bus. I will stand corrected if someone wants to differ).

We have already been using the Suburban to take our Peanuts…Naturally Festival program to schools and libraries in 3 counties in the spring and summer this year. This new decor will announce our program on the road and when we are at the schools.

The day has barely begun and Lucy is ‘down in the mouth.’ Poor everyone!

Sally is undoubtedly happy to be sitting so close to her ‘Sweet Baboo.’

Maybe the rocking of the bus is a soporific to Peppermint Patty and causes her to sleep the rest of the day at her desk!

Snoopy’ Paw Pet theater, one of my favorites.

Thanks to Troy and his team at Marquis Auto Body for painting the vehicle, and Dylan at Identity Graphix for applying the vinyl graphics!
