Meet, watch, and talk to animator and visual effects artist Jason Keam, whose work is informed by the vibrant energy of California, skateboarding culture, and TV animated American shows. Keam has created work for Philz Coffee, Golden Voice, Universal Pictures, YouTube Music, Adidas Skateboarding, Whole Foods, and Aquarium of the Pacific, and has painted murals around the world, including Qatar, Japan, Miami, Los Angeles, Hawaii, and DC.
ABOUT JASON KEAM
Jason Keam is a Long Beach based multi-disciplinary painter and community builder with a background in animation and visual effects. At the heart of Jason’s artistic expression is his beloved animated dog character, a symbol of diversity and unwavering friendship.
He made his debut at Miami’s famed Art Basel in December 2017 as an Adidas Skateboarding sponsored artist, and has worked with many notable brands, from Whole Foods to Universal Pictures. Recently, Keam had an artist residency with TEDTalk and Uni ball and presented his work at the TEDTalk event in 2024. During his residency, he built the community sculpture, “We Rise by Lifting Others,” pushing “Community Impressionism,” a post-impressionist art movement supporting compassion for diversity, inclusion, and representation.
