Mary Shyne is a comics artist, publishing professional, and a staff artist at Charles M. Schulz Creative Associates, the creative studio started by Schulz to oversee all Peanuts artwork and product development. After years of making minicomics, drawing flyers, and coding ebooks in New York City –and after a brief stint in Vermont to earn her MFA from The Center for Cartoon Studies–Shyne made her cartoonist’s pilgrimage to California to work for the Schulz Studio. When not at the drafting table, she likes cycling, watching Frasier, and playing with her pug, Homer.
