Meet, watch, and talk to illustrator and comic artist Lonnie Garcia. His work draws inspiration from vintage media, surrealist horror, wild, overgrown places, and personal experiences to create vibrant and lively pieces. His debut graphic novel, Putty Pygmalion, about a lonely radish who attempts to create a boyfriend out of expired putty, with surprising results, made the “2024 New York Public Library Best New Comics for Adults List.”

Lonnie Garcia is an illustrator and comic artist raised by the coast and hills of Northern California. He adores storytelling and loves to experiment with mixing narratives with his fondness for aesthetically pleasing clutter.
