Meet, watch, and talk to Martin Hsu, Asian American artist and character designer for Nickelodeon and Disney TV Animation. Hsu will talk about his work at 1:00 pm in the Museum Theater.
ABOUT MARTIN HSU
Martin Hsu’s illustrations have been published by Viz Media and Abrams NY and showcased at the Museum of Science in Miami and the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco. His original artwork has been displayed globally, including exhibitions in Taiwan, the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles, the Google campus, and galleries at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. His cultural heritage and family ties remain the most significant influence on his work and led to the development of his original character, Dragon Boy, an Asian American superhero inspired by his personal story as an immigrant in America.
