Discover the many incredible museums in Sonoma County by spending a week museum-hopping! Current members at ANY of the 10 participating museums will receive reciprocal FREE entry (up to 4 guests) for the entire week! Please check each museum’s website (below) for hours and restrictions in advance.

The purpose of the California Indian Museum and Cultural Center is to culturally enrich and benefit the people of California and the general public. The goals of the Museum and Cultural Center are to educate the public about California Indian history and cultures, to showcase California Indian cultures, to enhance and facilitate these cultures and traditions through educational and cultural activities, to preserve and protect California Indian cultural and intellectual properties, and to develop relationships with other indigenous groups. The Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center opened in 2002 to celebrate the life and art of Peanuts creator Charles M. Schulz and build an understanding of cartoon art. Located 50 miles north of San Francisco in Sonoma County—where Schulz lived and worked for over 40 years—the Schulz Museum houses the largest collection of original Peanuts comic strips and presents changing exhibitions and programming for all ages. The Children’s Museum of Sonoma County (CMOSC) was founded in 2005. Rooted in current early childhood research, CMOSC engages children in joyful discovery experiences that develop foundational skills, create lasting memories, and spark a lifelong love of learning.
Designed for children and their caregivers, the Children’s Museum’s experiential exhibits emphasize hands-on engagement and learning through play with a focus on art, nature, and science.*
The Children’s Museum proudly supports the work of parents, caregivers, and educators in raising happy, healthy, and strong children. Since opening its doors in 2014, it has become a valuable cultural resource and destination for Sonoma County. Learn more

Luther Burbank Home & Gardens focuses on the famed horticulturist Luther Burbank at his small home on this property and at the Tupper Street home from 1906 until his death in 1926. We highlight domestic moments with family, friends and pets as well as Luther’s lighter side, clowning around with friends and showing off for the neighbor kids.
Due to his introduction of hundreds of new plant varieties, Luther Burbank became internationally famous. He was an early media celebrity, and many people sought him out every day. He welcomed visitors from around the world here at his home and gardens. Learn more
Located in Downtown Santa Rosa, the Museum of Sonoma County welcomes visitors to experience regional history and contemporary art. The Seventh Street campus includes two buildings, multiple galleries, and a sculpture garden. The Museum opened its doors in 1985 as the Sonoma County Museum, housed in the historic 1910 post office, a landmark on the National Register of Historic Places. With multiple changing exhibitions per year, there is always something new to experience at the Museum! Learn more
The Pacific Coast Air Museum (PCAM) is a family-friendly, easily accessible open-air museum. They have a display of over 35 historic aircraft, a gift shop, and indoor exhibits. PCAM is located on a thee acre parcel at the Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport and is open five days a week year-round.
This is a “hands-on” museum: they believe the only way to properly learn about and appreciate these amazing and historical artifacts is to walk right up to the aircraft and touch them, look inside them, and see what makes them work. Learn more
Petaluma Arts Center (PAC) is a vital hub for Petaluma, an inclusive creative community center for all ages, and a source of connection and Petaluma pride. Located next to the SMART train station, our center is a vibrant community hub where artists, art lovers, and learners of all ages can explore their creativity and enjoy the transformative power of art. Since its founding in 1987 by Jane Davenport Jansen, Sonoma Botanical Garden has been dedicated to celebrating and conserving the plant diversity of temperate East Asia. In 2021, this vision grew to encompass another biodiversity hotspot: the California floristic province. At first glance, the Garden is meandering pathways, seasonal features, and hidden picnic spots, but a closer look reveals there is so much more. Every plant is accounted for with unique identifiers (accession numbers), species name, and source information. Learn more
Established in 1998, the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art (SVMA) is a membership-supported 501(c) 3, non-profit organization that provides seasonal exhibitions of contemporary and modern art and educational and public programming for children, youth, and adults.
