Cost: $20.00 adults/$10.00 youth; Museum Members receive 20% off. Tickets required.
Join Santa Rosa Symphony’s Young People’s Chamber Orchestra as they present Recollections: Four Centuries of Gloriously Good Music by Women Composers. The first youth ensemble of its kind in northern California, Young People’s Chamber Orchestra is a string ensemble of thirteen musicians, age 11 to 18, who perform without a conductor.
The Director, Aaron Westman, trains the musicians to interact and collaborate on high-level music-making and nuanced performance. An alumnus of Santa Rosa Symphony Youth Ensembles, he has performed as a chamber, principal player, or soloist with nearly all of the major baroque ensembles in California and toured extensively worldwide. Westman is on the Performance Faculty at Sonoma State University.
