Step up and stand out! The Schulz Museum’s Student Volunteer program offers an excellent starting point for students (ages 14-17) interested in the arts, museums, or any customer-oriented profession.
Engaging as a Student Volunteer fosters essential life skills, builds character, enhances confidence, and cultivates a strong work ethic.

Student Volunteer Requirements
- Age 14–17
- A photo ID. If volunteer doesn’t have a photo ID, a parent ID is required
- A minimum of 3 hours per month, with a one-year commitment
- Participation in all relevant orientation and training programs
- Support the Schulz Museum’s mission by always interacting in a friendly and helpful manner to welcome visitors and enhance their time at the Museum
- Choosing an assignment appropriate to your interests, abilities, and time

Student Volunteer Available Times
Museum Floor: (Greeter, Studio Monitor, Education Room)
- Saturday and Sunday:
10:00 am–1:30 pm or 1:30–5:00 pm - Monday through Friday (Closed Tuesdays):
11:00 am–2:00 pm or 2:00–5:00 pm

Once your application is submitted, the Volunteer Department will contact you to schedule an orientation and training. At your training, additional documentation will be provided. If you would like to review the Volunteer Agreement in advance, click here.
Bilingual volunteers are encouraged to apply! If you are fluent in any language other than English, including American Sign Language, there are often opportunities to greet visitors in their own language.
