During its nearly 50 year history, the Peanuts comic strip grew to have a strong connection with the winter season, especially Christmas. Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown celebrates the holiday season as explored in the Peanuts comic strip and presents a behind-the-scenes history of the making of the animated classic, A Charlie Brown Christmas.
This seasonal exhibition contains reproduction comic strips, quotes by Schulz, photos from his boyhood, artifacts from A Charlie Brown Christmas special, and seasonal novelties.
