Celebrating 65 Years of Peanuts
August 19 through January 10, 2016
Strip Rotation Gallery
65 years ago, Peanuts began publication on October 2, 1950. The earliest comic strips featured a smart aleck Charlie Brown absent his signature zig-zag shirt, and Snoopy as a dog that walked on all fours.
In the five decades that Schulz dedicated himself to Peanuts, the physical appearance of the Gang naturally evolved, as well as their individual attitudes and personal philosophies. See how your favorite characters developed and changed in this installation celebrating 65 years of Peanuts comics.
