The Museum is closed on Tuesdays year-round.
Holiday Closures: The Museum is closed on New Year’s Day; Easter Sunday; Fourth of July; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Eve Day; and Christmas Day.
Museum Admission
Admission tickets are only available for purchase upon arrival. The Museum does not offer pre-sale or online admission tickets.

Parking
The Museum offers free parking and has a large lot available to our visitors. Street parking is also available nearby on Hardies Lane.
Driving Directions
From San Francisco
The Schulz Museum is located 50 miles from San Francisco (about a one-hour drive).
- Take Highway 101 North across the Golden Gate Bridge
- On the north side of Santa Rosa, take exit #491 for Guerneville Road/Steele Lane
- At the exit signal, turn left onto Steele Lane and go into the right lane
- Where the street splits at the Cleveland Avenue intersection, bear right onto the beginning of West Steele Lane
- After crossing Range Avenue, stay on West Steele Lane for one block and turn right onto Hardies Lane
From Windsor, Healdsburg, or areas north of Santa Rosa
- Take Highway 101 South
- Take exit #491 for Guerneville Road
- At the exit signal, turn right onto Steele Lane and go into the right lane.

Air Travel
Charles M. Schulz–Sonoma County Airport
This is the closest airport to the Schulz Museum (approximately 7 miles).
San Francisco International Airport and Oakland International Airport
Both airports are about 70 miles from the Schulz Museum. We recommend renting a car for the drive, but if you don’t have a car, check Airport Express for bus schedules and prices to Sonoma County.

Train
The Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit (SMART) train runs from Larkspur (Marin County) to Windsor (Sonoma County), with stops in between. The Santa Rosa North station is a 10-minute walk to the Schulz Museum.

Group Discounts
Discounts are available for groups of 15 or more to visit from Noon–4:00 pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday only. Groups can tour the Museum independently and enjoy any special activities scheduled during their visit. To receive the group discount rate, reservations must be made at least three weeks in advance.
