Advanced LEGO Animation (Grades 4-6)

Kids Cook for the Holidays (Grades K-3)

The Great Outdoors (Grades K-3)

Take a hike through the Museum’s exhibition, Here Come the Beagle Scouts! Then make a light-up lantern and your own flashlight, and craft some creatures you might meet in the wild! Instructor: Michael Marquez

Reindeer Games (Grades K-3)

On Donnor, on Dixon! Spend an afternoon playing reindeer games like snowperson bowling and a candy cane scavenger hunt. Make reindeer chow, and craft a reindeer ornament to take home. Instructor: Michael Marquez

Winter STEAM Lab (Grades K-3)

Winter Wonderland (Grades TK-K*)

Children ages 4-6 will enjoy a morning of winter wonderland fun. Make waterless snow globes and sensory snow dough, and paint with marshmallows! Instructor: Angelica Blancas-Mims *Children must be able to use the restroom independently.

Arctic Animals (Grades K-3)

Journey to the arctic tundra and make a 3D polar bear, soft stuffed sock creature, and clay winter animal scene. Instructor: Sue Linder

Winter Watercolors (Grades 4-6)

Learn watercolor techniques and explore value and color mixing to paint a pointillist winter landscape, abstract salt paintings, and more. Instructor: Michael Marquez

Ice Age Art (Grades K-3)

Embark on a frosty adventure of creativity by playing with ice boats, making a frozen sensory bag, beading sparkling snowflakes, and enjoying other wintry cool projects! Instructor: Angelica Blancas-Mims

Flurries of Fun (Grades TK-K*)

Little ones, ages 4-6, will cozy up with homemade hot chocolate and a movie in the Museum Theater. Also, make a winter-weather bird house and feeder for Woodstock and decorate a graham cracker candy house to take home. Game Day (Grades K-3)

Manga and Pokemon (Grades 4-6)

Spend two mornings learning to draw your favorite manga and Pokémon characters. Join professional artist Barbara Golden to practice sketching and shading with pencil lines, outlining with black ink, and adding color to your manga art.

Spend two afternoons creating a world full of fantasy creatures like dragons, phoenixes, centaurs, and fantastic fairies with professional artist Barbara Golden. Learn basic drawing skills and coloring, blending, and shading to create your world with markers and watercolors.

Homeschool Day: Spring into STEAM

Engage in science, art challenges, and hands-on activities throughout the Schulz Museum. Engineer paper structures, practice basic coding, make Woodstock fly with magnets, and more! Also, ice skate at Snoopy’s Home Ice from 12:30–2:00 pm

Stop-Motion Animation Workshop

Join award-winning filmmaker, stop-motion animator, and artist Matthew Sandager to learn the art of stop-motion animation in a hands-on workshop for ages 8 and up.
