Many cartoon artists, fans, and critics have waxed eloquent about the art of Charles Schulz. “It’s a Fine Line” represents a departure from the usual museum interpretation, as Schulz speaks for himself on his technique, equipment, and frustrations.
Schulz spoke about his art in a number of interviews and articles. In conjunction with excerpts from some of those interviews is a display of Schulz’s “tools of the trade,” examples of his technique and a look at how his pen line changed over the years due to health considerations.
