Join cartoonist and storyteller Joe Wos for live performances and cartoon workshops for the whole family throughout the day as he celebrates the release of his new book, Exploding Kittens Puzzle and Activities, based on the Netflix animated series (for 12 and up) and hugely popular card game. Also, explore the galleries, watch animated specials on the big screen, and enjoy one of the many Peanuts-inspired photo ops!
Saturday Only: Enjoy a live performance by the Curtis Family C Notes at 2:00 pm.
ABOUT JO WOS
Joe Wos is the multi-Emmy Award-winning host of Cartoon Academy on PBS, produced by WQED in Pittsburgh, PA. Wos has been a visiting cartoonist at the Charles M. Schulz Museum since it opened in 2002 and has been performing his live illustrated storytelling nationwide for over 25 years. Regarded as a master maze-maker, Wos is the artist behind the internationally syndicated feature MazeToons and the best-selling MazeToons book series. ABOUT THE CURTIS FAMILY C NOTES
As seen on TV, Season 16 of America’s Got Talent, and JCPenney commercials, the Curtis Family C-Notes play a slew of genres, with a strong foundation in American Classical music and ’60s- ’70s-inspired San Francisco/Oakland/Bay Area funk. The family band are all multi-instrumentalists, composers, producers, and vocalists: Papa C & Mama C, Zahara, Nile, Isis, Kiki, and Phoenix. The Curtis Family C-Notes have played sold-out shows at Yoshi’s, the Blue Note in Napa, and the Fox Theatre in Oakland.
