ABOUT GEORGIA DUNN
Georgia Dunn is a children’s illustrator raised in Rhode Island, an upbringing that greatly influenced everything she likes to draw. Dunn graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and has been illustrating ever since. Most of her success started in 2010 when she left her day job at a bank to focus on illustrating full time.
When she is not painting, she likes to work on webcomics. BREAKING CAT NEWS occurred one night when she tweeted a few jokes as her cat Lupin was playing a newscaster. Dunn’s Friends thought it was funny, and when she posted it, the response was so great she drew a few more strips, and it went from there.
BREAKING CAT NEWS is based on Dunn’s real cats, Elvis, Puck, and Lupin, and how they react to daily life.
