Homeschool Day: Snoopy in Orbit

Explore the new exhibition Snoopy in Orbit while learning about our solar system and what lies beyond!
- Hear from NASA’s Outreach Strategist Patricia Moore (at 10:15 am) about NASA’s return to the Moon and future missions to Mars
- Launch rockets with Robert Ferguson Observatory
- Explore radio communication with Sonoma County Radio Amateurs
- Enjoy books about space with the Sonoma County Library
- See a live letterpress demonstration and take home a hand-printed Snoopy print from North Bay Letterpress Arts
- Create a solar car, touch a meteorite, make a nebula in a jar, assemble a solar system to take home, and more!
Extend the day! Ice skate at Snoopy’s Home Ice, located across the street from the Museum, from 12:30 pm–2:00 pm (additional costs apply).
Registration required. All sales are final. No refunds available.
Cost: Youth: $12.00 per child (Museum activities only, no ice-skating)
Youth + Skating: $19.00 per child
Chaperone: Free Adult (Adult not ice-skating)
Chaperone + Skating: $7.00 (Adult plus ice-skating)
Child 3 & Under: Free (No ice-skating)
Tickets available at the door.
Youth and children cannot attend without an adult chaperone. Adults and children under 3 who are NOT ice skating are free but still MUST register.
