Calendar of Events

Events at the Charles M. Schulz Museum give our visitors opportunities to: meet professional cartoonists; view some of Schulz’s favorite movies; create hands-on crafts; learn about different cartooning techniques; and attend Members-Only parties. In addition to our special events listed below, be sure to check out what happens at the Museum EVERY DAYEvents are included in the price of admission, unless otherwise noted.

Drawing Strength: A Fire Relief Fundraiser

Tickets available at the door: $40 per person for the entire event. $20 per person for book signing and draw-a-thon only.
Join the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center on Saturday, December 9 to raise money and draw support for North Bay Fire Relief.
Featuring: 
Andrew Atteberry

The evening will include a conversation on healing through humor and creativity with Stephan Pastis of Pearls Before Swine, author Christopher Moore (Sacré Bleu: A Comedy d’Art), and Brian Fies, creator of the recent Fire Story. The conversation will be moderated by the Press Democrat’s Chris Smith from 6:00 – 7:30 pm.

A beer and wine reception will follow, along with a book signing by Pastis, Moore, and Fies, and a Draw-a-thon and book signing with authors Dave Eggers (The Circle), Raina Telgemeier (Smile), and Judd Winick (Hilo:The Boy who Crashed to Earth) from 7:30 – 9:00 pm. Artists, including Pixar Animator Andrew Atteberry, will create custom personalized artwork for tax deductible donations of $50 or more, just in time to make perfect holiday gifts.

Tickets for Entire Evening: $30 per person (6:00 – 9:00 pm; doors open at 5:30 pm)
Tickets for Book Signing & Draw-a-thon Only: $15 per person (7:30 – 9:00 pm)

100% of event proceeds will go to North Bay Fire Relief to support those affected by the recent wildfires in Sonoma County. Museum Membership is not required to attend.

Membership status will be verified. We will contact you for the additional fee if you register at the member rate and are not a member. If you are interested in becoming a Schulz Museum member, click here.
We do not provide refunds for special events like Scout Days and Home School days. If you have to cancel a reservation for a special event, we can provide you with passes for a future Museum visit on your own time. If you need to cancel a class, please let us know as soon as possible by calling 707-284-1272. Cancellations cannot be made online. If you cancel a class with more than 48-hours notice, the Charles M. Schulz Museum will provide you with either a full credit for a future class or with a refund minus a $5 to $15 processing fee. We cannot provide any refunds or credits for classes cancelled with less than a 48-hour notice or after a class has begun.
