Calendar of Events

Events at the Charles M. Schulz Museum give our visitors opportunities to: meet professional cartoonists; view some of Schulz’s favorite movies; create hands-on crafts; learn about different cartooning techniques; and attend Members-Only parties. In addition to our special events listed below, be sure to check out what happens at the Museum EVERY DAYEvents are included in the price of admission, unless otherwise noted.

Bookshelf Author Series Featuring Peter Coyote -- 2:00 pm

Actor and writer Peter Coyote will read from and sign his latest book, The Rainman’s Third Cure: An Irregular Education, a memoir about mentors and the search for wisdom. Coyote has acted in over 120 films for some of the world’s most distinguished filmmakers, including Barry Levinson, Pedro Almodovar, and Steven Spielberg. He is an Emmy award-winning narrator of over 170 documentary films, including Ken Burns' The National Parks, Prohibition, The West, The Dust Bowl, and the acclaimed The Roosevelts, for which he received his second Emmy. Coyote’s memoir of the 1960’s counter-culture, Sleeping Where I Fall, received universally excellent reviews. Tickets are free with Museum admission and available on a first come, first serve basis at the Museum starting at 10:00 am on the day of the event.

Kid's Night at the Museum -- 5:00 - 9:00 pm

Drop your kids off for after-hours fun at the Schulz Museum. Kids will have the Museum to themselves for pizza dinner, games, art, crafts, and cartooning. Discount of $5 off for siblings. Advance reservations required--register online by clicking on the class title above or call (707) 284-1272.
Fee(s): $25 for Member, $32 for Non-member, $20 for Sibling Member Discount, $27 for Sibling Non-member Discount

Museum Mondays for Little Ones -- 10:00 am - Noon

Enjoy stories, arts and craft activities, and movement games on the last Monday of the month. Activities are designed for children ages 1 – 5 and their caregivers. Museum Mondays are held on the LAST Monday of every month from March – September and EVERY Monday from October – February.
Cost: $5 per child. Up to 2 adults per child are free before 11:00 am. After 11:00 am, regular museum admission applies.
