About Megan Kelso
Megan Kelso is an American comic book artist, writer, and editor of the all-women-cartoonist anthology, Scheherazade: Stories of Love, Treachery, Mothers, and Monsters (Soft Skull Press). Kelso started working in the 1990s, with the minicomic Girlhero, which won her a Xeric Foundation grant. In 2007, Kelso created a weekly comic strip for the New York Times Magazine titled Watergate Sue. She published three books (one graphic novel and two short story collections) with Fantagraphics Books, and a fourth book, a collection of short stories will be published by Fantagraphics this year. Her artwork Crow Commute, an 85-foot-long etched stainless-steel comics mural, was recently installed at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle as part of the renovation for the new NHL team Seattle Kraken.
