Getting Around the Museum
The Museum’s front entrance and all of the Museum’s galleries are wheelchair accessible. Please use the elevator located between the downstairs accessible restrooms to view the second-floor galleries. View Museum Map.
Access Features
Visitors Who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
American Sign Language (ASL) Interpretation
ASL interpretation is provided at no additional fee for all public programs, lectures, and docent-led tours when reserved in advance. Regular Museum fees for these programs still apply.
There is a $50.00 minimum for all private docent-led Museum tours. Fees and minimums for docent-led tours are detailed on our Group Tours webpages here. ASL interpretation can be added at no additional charge. Regular tour fees, including the $50.00 minimum, still apply.
To request ASL interpretation for a program or event, or to reserve an ASL interpreted docent-led tour for a $50.00 minimum, please fill out the tour request form at least three weeks in advance of your visit
Assistive Listening Devices
Assistive Listening Devices are available for visitors who are deaf or hard of hearing and/or wear a hearing aid. The devices have a t-coil switch to use with a loop to provide greater amplification for movies, programs, or lectures in the Museum Theater/Auditorium.
Closed Captioning
Films displayed in the galleries will have closed captions. Films presented in the Theater/Auditorium and Education Room will have closed captions when possible. Please check the Theater Schedule for a list of films with captions.
Visitors Who are Blind or Low Vision
Large Print Guides (LPGs)
An LPG booklet is produced for each major temporary exhibition, as well as for some smaller special exhibitions as an aide for those who may have difficulty reading the smaller font labels on the walls. The LPG uses font size 24 Arial for the general body text, and 1.5 line and paragraph spacing. Visitors can request the LPG from the Museum cashier at the front desk. Please note that all booklets are the property of the Charles M. Schulz Museum to be returned to the front desk after use.

Visitors with Mobility Considerations
Accessible Parking
Accessible parking spaces are located in the free, single ground-level parking lot at 2301 Hardies Lane.
Wheelchairs
The Museum has wheelchairs for visitors who find it easier to navigate in this manner. A photo ID must be provided to check out a wheelchair, which you can ask for at the front desk. Wheelchairs cannot be reserved and are checked out on a first come, first serve basis.
Visitors on the Autism Spectrum
Sensory Kits
Noise-canceling headphones are available in the Education Room and Museum classrooms. Sensory kits are available by request. Ask a Museum staff person or volunteer for one to use during your visit. Also, check our Calendar of Events and plan your visit on one of our Free Sensory-Friendly Family Days when the Museum is closed to the general public and open for free to families who need a slower place or quieter environment to explore.
Visitors with Limited English Proficiency (LEP)
Foreign Language Guides
Foreign-language guides are available: 中文, Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano, 日本人. Visitors can request the guides from the Museum cashier at the front desk. Please note that all booklets are the property of the Charles M. Schulz Museum to be returned to the front desk after use.
Visitors with Animal Assistance Needs
Service Animals Only
Respectfully, animals are not permitted in the Museum: This includes pets, emotional support, comfort, or therapy animals. Service Animals are permitted as defined by Title II and Title III of the American with Disabilities Act (ADA). The Schulz Museum will firmly follow the Federal Guidelines.
