The Schulz Museum is excited to offer in-person classes. See below for class descriptions and registration information.
Enjoy the flexibility of half-day or full-day options. Campers enrolled in a morning and an afternoon camp will stay at the Museum all day, including a supervised lunch break. Please pack a lunch for your child if you choose this option. Please note that full-day options may vary by age.

All classes require advance registration and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. See below for class descriptions and registration.
For online registration, you will be prompted to create an account. All contact information is secure; we do not store financial details or share personal information. If you have an account with our store, you will still need to create a separate account for classes and membership.

Below under General Camp Information, please find specifics about where to go, what to bring, and what to expect in Schulz Museum camps.
Children who need to take medication of any kind while attending camps will need the Release of Liability for Administering Medications form and Authorization for Administering Medications form completed by a parent or guardian and signed by a doctor before their first day of camp.

Refund and Cancellation Policy
REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY:
Refunds are available for camps canceled with more than a 7-day notice, EXCEPT FOR SUMMER CAMPS.
- For summer camps, a $35.00 fee per registrant per camp will be charged for any cancellation made after May 20 and up to 3 business days before the camp start date. Transfers to an alternate camp are available up to 3 business days before the camp start date. No refunds or transfers are available within 3 business days of any camp start date.
- For all other camps, a $10.00 fee per registrant per camp will be charged for cancellations made between 7 and 3 days before the start date. Transfers to an alternate and similar camp are allowed. No refunds or transfers are available within 3 business days of any camp or program start date.
Fee Assistance
The Schulz Museum is committed to making our classes and camps available and accessible to everyone through our fee-assistance program. Fee assistance is awarded based on need. Please apply as far in advance as possible here.
Junior Volunteer Program
Join our Junior Volunteer program! Children ages 12 and 13 can become Junior Volunteers for our summer classes. Junior Volunteers complete an application process, attend a required training, and select two or more classes in which to help. Junior Volunteers will receive training, mentoring, reviews and evaluations, and the chance to develop leadership skills while working with younger campers. To apply, visit schulzmuseum.org/classes-camps. Application fee is $60.00 for Non-Members. Members receive 20% off.
Grade recommendations for Spring, Fall, and Winter Break camps are for children currently enrolled in the grades listed; Summer Break camps refer to the grade the child is entering in the fall. Exceptions to the grade recommendation must be cleared with Museum staff before enrolling.
Shadow Box Holiday Happy Hour
This event is SOLD OUT. Adults 21+, don’t miss this fun DIY holiday gift event! Learn how to transform a flat Peanuts holiday image into a layered paper shadow box while enjoying local drinks.
Fall Flavors (Grades K-3)

Art and Nature: Endangered Animals (Grades 4-6)
Spend three mornings learning to draw endangered animals with artist Barbara Golden. From sea otters to endangered wolves, learn to draw, shade, and add color to your creations. Then show them off in a class art show!
Camp Cool (Grades K-3)

Advanced LEGO Animation (Grades 4-6)
Spend two afternoons building sets with LEGOs and working in small groups to create your own stop-motion movie with green screens, sound effects, titles, and credits. Instructor: Mike Marquez
Autumn Art and Animals (Grades K-3)

How to ‘Toon Wild Winter (Grades K-3)

Join cartoonist and master maze-maker Joe Wos and learn to draw penguins, polar bears, and reindeer in a winter wonderland from your imagination! Wos is the Emmy Award-winning host of Cartoon Academy on PBS and the creator of the internationally syndicated feature MazeToons.
Cartoon Academy Master Class (Grades 4-6)
Get your pencils ready for a crash course in cartooning! Focus on developing characters, emotions, relationships, and storytelling through images with cartoonist and master maze-maker Joe Wos. Wos is the Emmy Award-winning host of Cartoon Academy on PBS and the creator of the internationally syndicated feature MazeToons.
LEGO Animation (Grades K-3)

Gingerbread Doghouse Workshops
Assemble and decorate Snoopy’s doghouse out of gingerbread, complete with a marshmallow Snoopy on top! Registration required.
Holiday Gift-Making (Grades K-6)
Have fun making handmade gifts for your family and friends! Mix creamsicle sugar scrub and lavender bath soak, make and frame masterpieces, and decorate colorful cards. Instructor: Jessica Ruskin
LEGO Animation 1 (Grades 1-3)
Work in groups to build sets and characters with LEGOs. Add sound effects and titles, and practice editing to make short stop-motion movies. Instructor: Mike Marquez
Little Elves Workshop (Grades TK-K*)
Our youngest campers, ages 4-6, will get crafty and creative while making DIY gifts! Mix creamsicle sugar scrubs and soothing bath soaks, pinch clay pots into jewelry holders, and make shrinky dink art keychains and ornaments. Instructor: Angelica Blancas-Mims *Children must be able to use the restroom independently
Advanced LEGO Animation (Grades 4-6)
Work in groups to build sets and characters with LEGOs. Add sound effects, green screens, and titles, and practice editing to make short stop-motion movies. Instructor: Mike Marquez
Kids Cook for the Holidays (Grades K-3)
Mix, measure, and make seasonal snacks and treats. Make snowflake quesadillas, reindeer rollups, and a holiday snack mix in a jar to take home. Instructor: Sue Linder
The Great Outdoors (Grades K-3)
Take a hike through the Museum’s exhibition, Here Come the Beagle Scouts! Then make a light-up lantern and your own flashlight, and craft some creatures you might meet in the wild! Instructor: Michael Marquez
Reindeer Games (Grades K-3)
On Donnor, on Dixon! Spend an afternoon playing reindeer games like snowperson bowling and a candy cane scavenger hunt. Make reindeer chow, and craft a reindeer ornament to take home. Instructor: Michael Marquez
Winter STEAM Lab (Grades K-3)
Explore hands-on winter-themed activities, from building snow structures to making your own winter storms and snowman slime. Instructor: Mike Marquez
Winter Wonderland (Grades TK-K*)
Children ages 4-6 will enjoy a morning of winter wonderland fun. Make waterless snow globes and sensory snow dough, and paint with marshmallows! Instructor: Angelica Blancas-Mims *Children must be able to use the restroom independently.
Arctic Animals (Grades K-3)
Journey to the arctic tundra and make a 3D polar bear, soft stuffed sock creature, and clay winter animal scene. Instructor: Sue Linder
Winter Watercolors (Grades 4-6)
Learn watercolor techniques and explore value and color mixing to paint a pointillist winter landscape, abstract salt paintings, and more. Instructor: Michael Marquez
Ice Age Art (Grades K-3)
Embark on a frosty adventure of creativity by playing with ice boats, making a frozen sensory bag, beading sparkling snowflakes, and enjoying other wintry cool projects! Instructor: Angelica Blancas-Mims
Flurries of Fun (Grades TK-K*)
Little ones, ages 4-6, will cozy up with homemade hot chocolate and a movie in the Museum Theater. Also, make a winter-weather bird house and feeder for Woodstock and decorate a graham cracker candy house to take home. Instructor: Sue Linder *Children must be able to use the restroom independently.
Game Day (Grades K-3)
Get your game face on for a morning of team challenges! Discover who can build the tallest tower, explore the Museum with an iPad scavenger hunt, and make your own arcade game to take home. Instructor: Mike Marquez
Manga and Pokemon (Grades 4-6)
Spend two mornings learning to draw your favorite manga and Pokémon characters. Join professional artist Barbara Golden to practice sketching and shading with pencil lines, outlining with black ink, and adding color to your manga art.
Winter Science (Grades K-3)
Discover the science of snow with an afternoon of winter-themed science activities! Make fizzy ice, popping snow, and super sparkling snow slime! Instructor: Mike Marquez
Fantasy Creatures and Worlds (Grades 4-6)
Spend two afternoons creating a world full of fantasy creatures like dragons, phoenixes, centaurs, and fantastic fairies with professional artist Barbara Golden. Learn basic drawing skills and coloring, blending, and shading to create your world with markers and watercolors.
Wild Winter (Grades K-3)
Build a yeti home, make a winter gnome, and learn to draw some wacky and wild winter creatures. Instructor: Mike Marquez
LEGO Animation 2 (Grades K-3)
Work in groups to build sets and characters with LEGOs. Add sound effects and titles, and practice editing to make short stop-motion movies. Instructor: Mike Marquez
