The Museum’s Archives and Special Collections encompass the collected works of various individuals and organizations associated with Charles M. Schulz and the world of Peanuts. The collections contain correspondence, pamphlets, programs, posters, storyboards and other ephemera. The multi-media portion of the collection consists of Peanuts animated specials and films, documentaries and interviews with Charles M. Schulz, video and computer games, and television and radio segments focusing on aspects of the Museum.

Peanuts Licensing Archives
The collection includes documentation of Peanuts licensed promotions and use of Peanuts for non-profit and governmental agency informational campaigns. Also included are materials that provide evidence of the process of creating Peanuts – from printing plates to the comics sections of newspapers. The collection dates from 1952-ongoing.

- Licensed Promotions and Products – use of Peanuts in posters, booklets, patches and more including use by corporate licensees such as Interstate Bakeries, Ford and Hallmark.
- Government Agencies and Not-for-Profit – use of Peanuts for organizations and associations such as the American Lung Association and governmental agencies such as NASA, Environmental Protection Agency, and the U.S. Department of Health, Education and Welfare
- Newspaper and Clipping Collection – tear sheets, clippings and full newspaper sections featuring Peanuts and It’s Only a Game.
- Peanuts Musicals and Productions – playbills, tickets, posters, brochures and more about the Peanuts musicals “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown”, “Snoopy!! The Musical”, and the various animated specials and movies.

Redwood Empire Ice Arena
The documentation of Charles Schulz’s Redwood Empire Ice Arena, or Snoopy’s Home Ice, includes evidence of the building and construction in 1968-1969 and the many events and performances held there in the years that have followed.
