Yosemite with Sparky

Im age of Charles & Jeannie Schulz in Yosemite

As the A Change of Scene: Schulz Sketches from Abroad exhibition prepares to close at the end of this month, I wanted to briefly reminisce about the visit Sparky and I made to Yosemite. It was the summer after we were married, and we traveled with Warren and Barbara Lockhart to spend a few days in the park hiking and soaking in the magnificent landscape. It is the only American location featured in the exhibition, and we only have two or three sketches of Yosemite, though there could be more out in the world that Sparky had given to friends.
